Senior Mission #2

Charity is the newest Circle in the Mission Department. We meet every Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The function of the Charity Circle is to go out and teach the message of Christ to those that are lost, out of fellowship and/or unable to attend the house of Worship. We set examples of Christ love and forgiveness through our work and daily lives. Our goal is to commission others to come to Christ. We are committed to teaching and helping other in our Community as well as the Church. We train our youth, not only by examples, but also through teachings of growth and strength. We aid those that are unable to attend due to illness. We are also committed to fellowship that encourage love and friendship. Our work in the Community and Church reflect our mission of teaching and spreading the message of Christ through love and commitment.

Faith Circle meets in our Church Fellowship Hall every Thursday night from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The women of Faith Circle are on a mission doing God’s work. We visit and pray for the sick at home, in hospitals and Nursing Homes – wherever they are located. We send a variety of greeting cards and plants; we cook food shut-in and the needy; we make many phone calls letting the sick and shut-in know they have not been forgotten. We have Bible lessons and take tokens of love a variety of gifts to them We provide food and clothing for the homeless and less fortunate, reminding them that no matter their lifestyle, we are all God’s children, and He loves us all. God has blessed our Circle to be able to bless others.

Lorene Thompson circle meets on the 3rd and 4th Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

The Sunshine Band is a group of young people, ages 5 – 14. We meet on the 1st and 2nd Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. During our meetings we read and discuss the bible, learn bible verses, and have very interesting discussions about God and His Word.
